Diseases consist of any of the wide variety of microscopic organisms empowered by negative energy. Not truly undead, as they aren't derived from any formerly-living substance, it's unknown if these things can even truly be categorized as a life form. Diseases can occasionally be found collecting into a larger substance, such as green slime, but more commonly they do nothing more than infect a person, eating away at their health from within. The natural, positive-fueled healing processes of most forms of life can slowly destroy disease, as can external application of positive energy properly applied specifically to that purpose.
