A long-since-passed race, the void mephits were once found throughout the plane of [[Vacuum]].  Some time in the prehistory of the planes, however, a war was sparked between this race and the quasielementals of Vacuum.  This war went poorly for the mephits, the entire elemental race slain to a being by the quasielementals.  No knowledge about them can be found today but for the misty reminiscences of those vacuum quasielementals that have survived from then to now, and such beings are obviously reticent to speak to mortals in the modern day.  Rumors have floated for centuries that the mysterious entity known as [[Sun Sing]] may be the last surviving of the void mephits, but beyond this, there is nothing more to be found about them.

A long-since-passed kind, the void mephits were once found throughout the plane of Vacuum. Some time in the prehistory of the planes, however, a war was sparked between this kind and the quasielementals of Vacuum. This war went poorly for the mephits, the entire elemental kind slain to a being by the quasielementals. No knowledge about them can be found today but for the misty reminiscences of those vacuum quasielementals that have survived from then to now, and such beings are obviously reticent to speak to mortals in the modern day. Rumors have floated for centuries that the mysterious entity known as Sun Sing may be the last surviving of the void mephits, but beyond this, there is nothing more to be found about them.
