History
- ~30000 years ago: Araushnee betrays the Seldarine, becomes banished alongside her children Vhaerun and Eilistraee and takes the name Lolth
- ~11000 years ago: Descent of the drow in FR (Crown Wars), possibly same time in other settings - no drow in Birthright, Dragonlance, Mystara
Culture
Matriarchal. Priestess caste highest. Under them, drow society divided into houses, families. Drow loyalty strongest to House, but even that is weaker than most. violent, potentially deadly to many.
Ecology
Underground dwellers, sensitive to light.
