During Combat Verden never gets in combat if she can avoid it, fearing the risk it could pose to her own life. If attacked in public, she attempts to play on her reputation of harmlessness to draw others to her aid and allow herself to slip away. If this fails, however, or if she is threatened in private, she first strikes with the switchblade hidden in her belt buckle (using underhanded if possible), trying to knock out her target in order to use life drain safely.
Morale If Verden suspects for an instant that she might actually be at risk of death in a fight, she immediately tries to escape using every method at her disposal, regardless of circumstances.

Accelerated Aging (Su): Verden ages at ten times the normal rate for her species.
Life Drain (Su): Once per day, Verden can attempt to drain a victim, stealing their life force to restore herself. On a successful grapple, her target must pass a Will save at DC 18 or else suffer the effects of this attack; on a failed save, for every round the grapple continues, the target takes one negative level and Verden's age is reduced by one year. The target only receives a save at the start of the grapple, but once the grapple is broken, the attack is ended.
Natural Born Liar (Ex): When Verden successfully deceives a creature with a Bluff, that creature takes a –2 penalty on her Bluff checks for the next 24 hours. This ability does not stack with itself.
